The people who read this list seem to be very knowledgeable, so I
figured that I'd like to start a discussion on SMT techniques.  I
consider myself very good with soldering but have never attempted SMT.

My specific questions are:

What equipment is required to start out?
What techniques and skill does one need?
Are there any good resources out there for SMT people?  Be it
websites, companies, books, or whatever?
