OK, one way to achive this (to make sure that the traffic is being served up to the web properly via your router) is to use a proxy server which is external to your site. Your browser connects to the proxy and requests pages from it. The proxy connects to your web site and requests the pages from it. The page would then be uploaded to the proxy server and then downloaded to your browser.
