Very true. My first Hamvention, I had no idea about the weather situation and didn't dress very warmly. Of course my joy at the fleamarket totally stampped on my reflex "hey it's too cold and wet, go inside" and thus I got rather sick. Still, I had a great time :) Now I know better, and I bring proper clothing. John's comment holds true, but it's not just the rest of May that may be nice. Most days I wake up there and it's beautiful in the morning. As soon as I get to Hara, the rain and clouds set in. Figures!
