I will keep thinking about it. I have a lot of fond memories about the place as well as a lot of junk I should not have bought! For those who have not been there before it is a good idea to take along an empty back pack or a carry bag with a shoulder strap. If you are a vendor, you could probably sell a lot of luggage carts for those who find the "boat anchor" of their dreams. When the event was still held in April there was an especially bad weather day, freezing rain and sleet. There happened to be a vendor selling old military clothing. The best buy I made that week was a several sizes too small army uniform jacket. He sold out! I miss the general flavor of the Hamfests in Ohio. The ones I have been to in the Carolinas are way too business like and are held in expensive locations.
