I'm posting this mainly because of the pictures which show lighting 
levels at a range of power inputs. See about 80% of the way down the 
page. Goes from dim spot to "broad daylight".

There's no real rocket science here, but quite a bit of engineering 
learning in optimising boost converter and keeping the module alive at 
above rated input.
