Hi Arkady, =20 > The packages of these modules are BGA and LCC respectively. Will it be > possible to hand solder them for prototyping? (May be a heat-gun for BG= A?) > Or is it all impossible, and I will need help from a SMD prototyping ho= use. I don't know about BGA, but LCC is very solderable. I did it this way: fi= rst put some solder on the PCB pads and then remove as much as possible w= ith solder wick. Then put the IC on the PCB and use a chisel shaped solde= ring iron. Tilt it 90=B0 so that the long side is vertical. Now put some = solder on the soldering iron and stroke it onto the LCC pad until it's so= ldered. =20 You might have to try this a few times, but once you get the hang of it i= t's very simple. It works with gold plated LCCs. I soldered an Analog Dev= ices accelerometer this way a few weeks ago. =20 Regards, Anthony Website: http://members.lycos.nl/anthonyvh =09 --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
