My detector circuit was 'breadboarded' at the time so I don't know about the case. But the whole device could become very fancy by using a log converter/rectifier from Analog Devices. This would need 5V @<10mA and do the whole job, also being able to drive the meter directly, and it would read in dB, no less. That an a tiny NIST dipole on a 'stalk' would be a nice meter to have imho. Does anyone sell the relevant Analog logamps in ones ?
