Part of my point is that the headline did not match the article.

The other point is that: 

"Some 56% said they knew a little, while 33%
had never heard of the constitution.
...Despite their apparent ignorance, 49% said they would vote
in favour with only 16% firmly against - mainly because they
feared a loss of national sovereignty, the survey indicated."

Sounds like a great way to vote yourself into (economic, political,
and/or physical) slavery.
