Hi All, I am trying to get the Microchip USB Bootloader to go using my own hardware, I have set up a board with a 20MHz xtal and connected up the the USB socket, adjusted the config bits to enable the USB reg and all looks promising, I plug it into the PC and it comes up with new hardware found but when ever I point it at the drive in "C:\MCHPFSUSB\Pc\MCHPUSB Driver" the system decides to use the default driver from Microsoft and fails to load, I thought it may be a problem with the PC so I tried a fresh system and It does exactly the same, I am trying to use the MC FS Demo tool with this board and I have connected up a switch to put it into the correct mode, Am I doing the right thing trying to load this driver? Any suggestions? regards Lee McLaren -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
