I'm going to be in Sacramento for next week, then LA for saturday and am 
looking for ideas on what to do with my free time.

I'm planning on visiting Fry's electronics, of course, but I'm 
interested in other electronics outlets I shouldn't miss (Southeast 
Michigan isn't the greatest place for components) as well as other 
non-electronics activities.

I'll also be in LA for a day, most of which is already scheduled but I 
believe I'll have an hour or three in there for other activities. 
(probably Saturday evening).

In both cases I have a rental car with unlimited miles so I am not 
worried about transportation (though parking is an issue ;-))

If anyone needs snow and lives around in that area I'm willing to 
transport* it for you, possibly in exchange for LCDs, unfinished circuit 
cellar contest kits, or terribly funny jokes.

on airline restrictions on dry ice.  Recipient is responsible for state 
taxes and laws regarding the safe use of snow and proper disposal of 
unused portions of snow.  Transporting agent is not responsible for 
thrid party irritation and/or anger at possible misuse of snow.  Void 
where prohibited.  Batteries normally not included, and when they are 
the toy is not included.
