Does anyone know what brands of USB-Serial converters use the FTDI chips?
I have been playing hit-and-miss (actually almost completely miss) and
some of the ones out there are really bad (IOGEAR GUC232A with PL2303 chip
is particularly bad on my laptop)

Something available in the US by mail-order or the usual retailers.
