The closest thing to a standard is an RJ-12 connector such that a ICD2 can be connected directly using the cable that comes with the ICD2. If you are looking into an RJ-12 jack so that the 6 contacts are on the bottom and the locking tab of the cable would click into the top, then the pins are numbered 1-6 from right to left. The pinout is: 1 - Vpp 2 - Vdd 3 - GND 4 - PGD 5 - PGC 6 - not used Note that this is for a target circuit. Since the standard Microchip ICD2 cable has the two plugs mounted so that both locking tabs are on the same side of the cable, this pinout is flipped for a programmer or debugger. However, if you are just making a target circuit then don't worry about this and just use the pinout above. ***************************************************************** Embed Inc, embedded system specialists in Littleton Massachusetts (978) 742-9014, http://www.embedinc.com -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
