What you are looking for is called DVR Digital Video Recorder/Recording
1) No way a PIC can handle doing this unless it's just a controler. Too
much information.
2) You might be able to use 4 PVR's however you will need a fast
machine to do it.
3) Go to a security website and research there various DVR offerings.
