In my area the speed limit is 100, despite the fact that most of the roads in question were designed for 130. That said, just because it's "unfair" or "unreasonable" that doesn't give ANYONE the right to skirt the law. The law is the law. Get it changed if you will, but until it's changed that's what it is. I agree better enforcement is necessary, but that is too NO excuse for breaking the law.
