Hello, I need to select an output capacitor for a switch-mode power supply and don't have an idea about a maximum acceptable ESR for the capacitor. As I found out, the ESR can be calculated from the formula of tan delta and is directly proportional with it. What would be a good value for such a capacitor, considering that the inductance value for the SMPS is 10uH, the current load is 2.5A maximum and the frequency is around 250kHz ? Thank you !
