At this moment thinking to use matrix keypad but
If I must use some thing else then I can do it.
Yes I have spare I/O to drive FET but I still do
not imagine when pic is off there is no power to it
how to turn back on digitally. Any idea ?

A matrix keypad ? 4 x 4 or something is it ?

Do you have a spare that can turn a FET on ? The PIC could
connect to this spare and the FET gate to turn it off
