Well the ideal is being on one of those aircraft but not having the unit in your footspace! Unfortunately you can't tell where they are when you book a seat... Anyway, can they actually do 20-hour flights yet? They would certainly need two flight crews, and I'm not sure if the fuel-load makes it feasible. The longest I've done is LAX-AKL which is around 13 hours. I know some people do LHR-LAX-AKL with only a couple of hours on the ground at Los Angeles, but I think they're raving bonkers! When I've been to NZ I've always spent about a week in California in between (which Air-NZ allows you to do without charge). I always do plenty of exercises during a flight, even though it's not always easy when the flight is full, but I wander about a number of times, spending some time standing up looking out of the windows in the rear doors. You usually get a great view of Las Vegas, Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam on the way to LAX!
