E.g. Chicken shit. And no, I am NOT kidding. In the USA, Chicken poop is the
#1 feed for beef. The FDA started to try to put a stop to that, but was
convinced that without the cows eating it, the massive volumes of chicken
excrement would be impossible to get rid of.

And, yes, I still eat it from time to time. The beef, not the chicken
droppings... Although there really isn't that much distance between the two.

My chickens currently turn their stool into leaves which results in a very
rich compost. At this point, it has to be re-composted or nothing will grow
in it.
