Personaly, I don't have that insight into the "PIC-market" so I can't tell. Now, *I* havn't had any problem "using" relocatable code. In fact, I built some of my first project using it, without even *knowing* that it was this "magical" relocatible thing ! This whole issue has been greatly exaggerated. Just get yourself a few code examples and get going. Things will fall into place while going down the route. Yes, one major "problem" is that 99% (or more) of the guides and tutorials on the net uses absolute code. Not much we can do about that... Giving ot a second thought, I might put up the short code snipped I posted here earlier on my web site instead, so it's easier to reference later.
