It seems the font was > intended to give the impression of the doc being a super-secret > classified doc. > Hell, what morons is this show intended for? Either the manual is false or genuine. If genuine, then font used etc are not overly relevant to the=20 contents. The font gves the appearance of having been typewritten. It's just=20 possible that it was ! (but unlikely). >From hat they say, this translation was evidence for a trial, and=20 there may be standard formats for presentation based on the arcane=20 ways of lawyers and the legal system. IANAL (fortunately :-) ) so I=20 can't say. IF it was evidence for a trial then the legal system would have had=20 requirements for proof of authenticity of the original, the goodness=20 of the translation etc - that's, amongst other things, is what defence=20 counsel are for. All that is outside the scope of the content. IF it is a real DOJ site (as it seems to be) then the manual is=20 "reasonably likely" to be genuinely what it claims to be. If so, then the content is of far more interest to me than the fond=20 they chose to use when it was translated or the files size etc. The main point (and the reason that the DOJ placed it on a web site),=20 is that there are devious nasty people amongst us who wish us ill for=20 whatever reasons. Even if they must spell out the obvious in their=20 "training manuals". Presumably the parts that they note have been=20 omitted contain more interesting material about how to do damage.
