Hello Piclisters;
    I have been lurking here for sometime now and have enjoyed reading 
the posts .
I have 2 questions that I would like to ask .
    1) I have a P16Pro programmer using the Picall software. Up to now 
everything worked fine until I tried to program a P16F628A (the 16F628 
programs fine).
Does anyone know why the "A" version won't program?  I have tried 
different timings and configuration register settings,  it does seem to 
erase the chip though.

    2)  There is only a couple of days left to order Microchips ICD2 and 
I was wondering if I can use it as a device programmer as well as a 
debugger?  (looking for a reason to buy it<g>).
