Hi, folks Synopsis: what are some general current/voltage specs for an audio output of the computer or cd-player type (for headphones, etc. 3.5mm plug)? Specifics: I'm planning to build a software customizeable audio panel to connect various audio input devices to various audio output devices. The input devices will be a computer, a receiver, and a cd player. The output devices will be a set of amplified computer speakers (Logitech Z-2300's, if you're interested - great speakers), two pairs of wireless headphones, and a couple sets of wired headphones. I need the voltage/current specs to decide on some MOSFETS to use for this project. Any MOSFET p/n suggestions would also be appreciated. The MOSFETS will be used to connect each input to an output. Each input will be connected to every output via a MOSFET which may be switched on/off via software control from a PIC. BTW, do ya'll know of any similar projects out there on the web? I googled a bit, but I don't know what terms to use... Any project suggestions/inputs would be appreciated.
