But you can't get there from here :-). ie at the level they are trying to get down to the effects of other factors which aren't being taken into account will swamp any improvements that may exist. And at some stage you surpass the available quality that is present in the media by such a margin that any further improvement gains about nothing. And at some stage you surpass the quality available in your own audio input transducers - sooner or later someone is going to provide direct neural input for the richer masses - until then the practical limit has already been exceeded. Direct neural input MAY not be all that hard using direct induction in some form. Worth a thought (pun almost intended).
