Friends tell me that for the past few years winters have been really stink - cold slush and rain, not like when I was there and had proper snow every winter. Something special about going to school in the dark in snow. But at least it's the season for it in the UK. Would you believe that several times in NZ over the past fortnight there have been hail storms so cold and heavy that there have been drifts around Auckland ? That's in between rain and thunder storms. And there's snow and floods further down country. This time last year I had a tan (so did the two girls over the back fence wink wink) and worked with my feet in a bowl of water. Honestly, I think the last half-decent clear day was at least a month ago. The weather's just simply mental this year _______________________________________________ http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
