Greetings Gentlemen: Alan, I don't know if the procedure in the data sheet actually works reliably. I will probably get a chance=20 to try it over the weekend. If it does work that would=20 allow a bootloader to change the Configuration Registers. Olin, you are quite correct that the WRTC bit must be SET to allow such programming. And I fully agree that=20 there is no normal application where allowing the program to modify the chip's Config Regs would be desirable -- except in the case of a BootLoader.
