I also thought about building one. Then I got out my handheld GPS,
solves all the problems you're talking about. I obviously didn't bother
building one, the GPS has so many more features (i.e. speed, distance
travelled, recording of the route you took, etc.) that building one
specifically for my blades seemed silly.
