Bill, if one look at all the open source projects in the world and things like=20 sourceforge.net then CVS also should be usable by large companies. Many=20 users from different time zones sharing and working on the same codebase=20 without any problem. But its free of course and many big companies (and=20 also smaller companies) are afraid of that (can't understand why but I=20 have seen this many times). There is plenty of tools around CVS that makes it user friendly if you=20 don't like the command line. WinCvs/CvsGui is one such tool=20 http://www.wincvs.org/=20 If you want a web interface there are plenty around. The one used at=20 sourceforge is one example. (=20 http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/can/ is an example ). But of course any reversion system is better then none.
