If I try to MAKE the following MPLAB hangs

	db	.0,.3,.3,.0,.3,.3,.3,.0,.3,.3,.3,.0,.0,.4,.0,.0

But if MAKE (Another 0 on the front of the line)
	db	0.,.0,.3,.3,.0,.3,.3,.3,.0,.3,.3,.3,.0,.0,.4,.0,.0
it does not hang

WHY?
