I could not do the work I do without the ICD2. buy.microchip.com is great. I just bought the "Universal Programming Module" and all I do is plug it into the ICD2, set the jumpers and I can program parts such as the PIC16F57 etc. The ICD2 can run from the USB port and also comes with a wall wart. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- DXTron Technology Inc Atlanta, Ga PCB Assembly TH and SMT PIC Chip Programming ----------------------------------------------------------------- redrock8@dxtron.com www.dxtron.com ----------------------------------------------------------------- ----- Original Message ----- From: "Philip Pemberton" To: Sent: Monday, November 29, 2004 6:48 PM Subject: [OT]: Any experiences with buy.microchip / ICD2? > Hi, > Seeing as Microchip have knocked 30% off the cost of the ICD2, I'm > thinking > about buying one.
