Without the parenthasis Try "=10^-5*(C55^2)" or "=(C55 ^ 2) * 10E-5" where C55 holds the "T" value or "=10^(-5*(C55^2))" Depending on which is required - I find it a bit ambiguous without brackets.. RP Again, please assume I am less than 9 or older than 40: I am trying to put this formula into Excel to calculate the density of water, but I can't seem to figure out why it won't work. If someone could show me how to enter it I would be grateful. I cannot enter the whole formula because I cannot enter it as written to me, but here is a small portion that I think I am having trouble translating to Excel: 10-5(T2), the -5 and the 2 are small and raised like exponents. So would I enter 10^-5(T^2) Thanks _______________________________________________ http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist _______________________________________________ http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
