Yes, although the SMPS should be isolated from the mains anyway. Just remember that the mains is about as close as you are going to get for a constant voltage supply, so if anything goes wrong, it does so in a big way :)) However the advantage of the isolated scope is that the isolation is not only to mains earth, but between channels, and there is a four channel version, with every channel isolated from every other channel. >Or you can use the dangerous method of removing the >center pin of the AC power plug (not recommended).
