Do you happen to have any 10F's to verify this with ?

I might have missed it, but what are you running at the "host" side ?
Olins original easyprog program ?

And when you say "firmware", are you only refering to what's inside
the PIC on the Wisp628 ? Or also the host software ?

Is this different from the original Wisp628 ?
As far as I know, it runs OK with a 648A also.

"Driver" here, is that the firmware on the Wisp628 ?
Or the host software ?

OK, but the idea is that it should be possible to it run using
Olins command line interface, right ? Personaly, I don't either
need or want any GUI... :-)
