Yes - Tantalums are electrolytic capacitors as well - I perhaps could have 
made that clearer.

That is *A* common marking but cannot be relied on alas. In some examples 
it's the cathode / negative connection :-(. It amazes me that something so 
fundamental cannot be standardised amongst manufacturers.
