I need to some help fixing a tek 2215A scope (not worth much, but if it's simple a 60mhz scope can be handy). "R907" is burnt so i can't read the value, and i need the part number of the transistor on the heat sink that connects with a 3 pin connector with wires attached (someone tried to replace it with an nte part which was apparently wrong, may be a fet). "C490" also appears bad but i can easily read the writing (the heat shrink marking label has pulled way down, which they do when they get hot). of course any other free info about the power supply schematic or the whole scopes schematic would also be appreciated, if someone has it in a pdf file or could mail it to me for postage and copying + something reasonable for your time. unfortunately it's not worth buying a whole manual for being just a 60 mhz scope but if it's easy and cheap i'd love to get it up, for one thing it would be handy when my other scope acts up or if i need to monitor several signals. tha= nks. --=20 =93Cowardice asks the question: is it safe? Expediency asks the question: is it politic? Vanity asks the question: is it popular? But conscience asks the question: is it right? And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular- but one must take it simply because it is right.=94 : Martin Luther King Jr. 1929-1968 _______________________________________________ http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
