Granted, another more thorough reading of the data sheet=20
is in order. I guess that will take care of my weekend.

Microchip's website is still not reachable from here ---
eastern USA.  I think you are not in the US, correct?
Possibly you are accessing a European website?

And I guess that another read-through of the data sheet is
