You may also want to check some nasties that'll hide in the browser 
Java and class settings.

IE.  Tools\Internet Options

>From the form that pops up.

Click on 3rd panel down SETTINGS   (if IE6)

>From next form click on VIEW OBJECTS

>From the form that opens up delete anything in here that looks 
suspicious. If you use chat on MSN,Yaboo and the like the Java applett 
lives here. But any you delete will reload themselves next time you go 
to the site.

In theory you should be able to just go to C:\windows\Downloaded 
program files and do the same thing. But I've had problems with IE 
when I've done it that way.
