I'm trying to find the pinout of the data jack on my wife's
VX4600.  It supports RS232C, but my VX6000 supports
USB, so the data cables are not directly interchangable,
even though the connector fits well.

My thought is, if I can find the info I need, compare the
pinouts and solder a DB9 onto the data cable (it has a
nice little PCB halfway down that serves no function[yet!])

That would let me use the cable for both phones.  I also
need to know if the "official" cable has a level shifter
(MAX232 or similar) in the middle, or if the phone can
handle standard RS232 data levels.  Of course, this is
the kind of info that just isn't widely available out there.
