Oh no, not the 16F84(A) again :(

I can understand that a dsPIC in a TQPF package is not the best starting
point for a newbie, but you don't learn your child cycling on one of
those old very-large-frontwheel bikes, do you? A 16F630 is about as
simple as a 16F84 (and no Xtal needed), and is *much* cheaper (a newbie
will likely fry a few chips).
