If there's 600mA at 240VAC going in (140 Watts!), and only 5.1V at 2A coming out (10.2 W), that's pretty awful for a switching power supply. Presumably the input power is an absolute-maximum, required by safety regulations sort of thing, while the output specs are real and guaranteed. Typical input current had better be a lot lower!
