Dick Smith Electronics has reduced their IDC header (IDC DIL cable sockets) 
in 10,26,20,26, 34, 40, 50 way to $1.01 each retail. These are NOT shown as 
end of line or disposal items so the price & ongoing stock MAY remain. (BUT 
$1.01 is a common price for their disposal items so ..)

This price may be dearer than can be obtained elsewhere depending on the 
part, but for DSE it's a vast price reduction - the cheapest were previously 
about $3 - $4 (and the old price is still on the bins).

2.    Lead Acid Gel cells

Rexel (previously GEC) have superb pricing on 12v sealed lead acid batteries 
until the end of November.
About $8.80+GST for 1.2AH, $9.20+ for 3.3 Ah, about $12.70+ for 7 AH. 
Substantial reduction on usual prices.


3.    Rexel also have other specials such as Dichroic 12v lamps 35w - 50W 
for $7 to $9 - about half usual price.
