The datasheet tells me that the oscillator is factory tuned, but can be adjusted in the application by changing OSCTUNE. So I assumed that I need to write to OSCTUNE register _only_ when I want a different frequency than the calibrated value. But you seem to tell me that I need to write to OSCTUNE _always_ to get a reliable WDT.
