Although, 10k is the usual volume for press release pricing. Even if you 
don't expect to be buying that number, if you want to compare devices 
across manufacturers, a volume price is more useful than say, Digikey 
list prices.
I do agree though. Whether stated or not, I tend to regard quotes as 
being a private discussion between parties.
