If they worked for me, of course! I have been in some international
projects, the mandatory language was always English (in meetings, in
reports, in code, in emails, ...). French find this somewhat difficult,
but they did not seem to regard it as unreasonable. Apart from the UK
and US, the Dutch and Scandinavians seemed to be most at ease speaking
English.
