It is, highly recommended. And also get "peopleware", I forgot the
author's name.

That is of course a cleverly worded but totally wrong comparison.
Builders should be compared to chip factories (or maybe FLASH PIC
programmers), programmers should be compared architects and civil
engineers, and only to the ones that build new types of buildings, in a
new environment, that is not understood, and will change totally the day
the building is finished.
