I really like that chip! The 18Fxxxx replacements don't seem too bad but I noticed on the 18F4520, the data sheet lists max speed as 8 MHz, 32MHz w/PLL. This is a lot slower than the 18F452 (10 MHz, 40 w/PLL). Is this an error in the data sheet (not likely) or did MChip discover something about the 18Fxxx? I can't understand why there would be a major speed diff between the two (very similar) lines.
