Indeed, and anyone who is in a position like this shouldn't rely on such things as mobile phones if they may be needed. I remember when I was a kid that occasionally a message would be flashed up on the cinema screen asking a particular person to go to the manager's office - presumably they had told others where they'd be, and some sort of emergency had arisen. Let's face it, from the dawn of time to about fifteen years ago there was no way to contact someone by mobile phone, so what did we do then?
