OK - I tried blowing all the MPLAB versions off of my WinMe computer and =
installing Ver. 6.62.
I am still getting the same pair of strange messages at start-up - the =
first is that a message couldn't be sent because of a bad ID, then a =
message saying it is unable to initialize the legacy language suite at =
some CLSID.  This pair actually repeats, for a total of four error =
messages.=20

After clicking through them the program works OK. On my Win2K computer =
here at work, using the same Ver 6.62, the messages don't appear.   I =
can't find anything about this behavior in the MicroChip knowledge base, =
but that application at their website doesn't operate very smoothly.

Any ideas anyone has on this will be appreciated
