I've often wondered about buying one of those dodgy degrees, just to circumvent that problem. I'd be totally open & honest about it at the interview - maybe you'd score points for lateral thinking*. I'm self-unemployed, so it's just a theory. *As I did when I was the first person at my school to use the new fangled photocopy machine to assist with writing 1000 lines.
