My new laptop is among the top of the line that Dell offers. It has 4 USB 2.0 ports, 1 USB 1.1 port (???), 1 IEEE.1394 port, 1 PCMCIA slot, built-in modem and ethernet, built-in IrDA, VGA/DVI, and S-Video. What's missing? Serial, parallel, and PS/2. Floppy drive, too. Sigh. Oh well. I guess it's FTDI chips for me from now on.
