Usually, on these devices, it's impossible to twiddle the parallel port bits. They should be called printer ports, rather than parallel. If that's true of this device, then you're left with a single serial, and a hub. Look under "edgeport", this is what I use. They make 1/2/4/8 port models, but I don't see much point in the 1 or 2 port versions. 8 serial ports can usually be had on ebay for <$100.
